Oh well: I don't like Tiny Rebel. I don't like their branding, I don't like the mis-use of the one of Ryu's special moves ("Ha-Dou-ken" is what Ryu says when he launches a fireball, which is not a "finishing move" - In fact, none of the Capcom beat-em-ups have finishing moves. For those, go to Mortal Kombat) and I didn't like this beer. Raisins, sherry and cointreau in the nose off the neck of the bottle. Deep orange pour, very winey + brandy-esque in the gob. Then very, very thick, almost overly syrupy hop resin taste, bordering on sweet. Alcohol fumes in the repeats. Slight lacing. My notes say 'challenging IPA - not sure if I like it". I think I've had the Urban IPA at one point which I don't remember to have been too offensive, but this one didn't reach me at all, sorry guys.

Tiny Rebel Co, Hadouken IPA
I think Simon over at CAMRGB wrote a post about the slight weirdness of not liking a particular beer (here). I know that alot of brewers work hard, they're passionate, possibly not too rich, doing it for the love rather than the money. Which is why I'm not too sure about writing about this beer: if you haven't got anything nice to say then don't say anything at all.
